Thiruvananthapuram, January 08, 2023: Acsia Technologies, a global leader in automotive software powering Connected Vehicles, Infotainment Systems, and e-Mobility, is pleased to announce its acquisition of Arctictern Solutions GmbH. The German automotive software startup will be rebranded as Acsia Technologies GmbH, a move that aligns with Acsia’s strategic plans for global expansion.
Founded in 2014, Acsia has become a key technology partner for top automotive brands and Tier 1 suppliers globally. The new German division, located in Karlsruhe, represents a critical expansion, enhancing Acsia’s connections with European clients. Through its comprehensive range of automotive solutions, digital engineering, and consulting services, Acsia is poised to meet the growing demands of the European market more effectively.
Jijimon Chandran, Founder and CEO of Acsia, shared his optimism about the company’s future direction in the automotive technology field. He noted the acquisition’s strategic importance, stating that it positions Acsia as a leader in European automotive innovation. Chandran emphasized Acsia’s potential to become the preferred partner for European OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers through its exceptional engineering and consulting capabilities.
Datta Hegde, the founder of Arctictern and the newly appointed Managing Director of Acsia Technologies GmbH, mirrored Chandran’s excitement. He looks forward to increased opportunities for client engagement and added value. The acquisition is expected to boost Acsia’s project engagements in Europe significantly, with positive effects on the technology job market in India.
In line with these expansion efforts, Acsia has acquired approximately 85,000 square feet of office space in the Embassy Niagara Building at Technopark Phase III, Trivandrum. The company’s active collaboration with leading European automotive firms like Basemark and Segula Technologies demonstrates its commitment to delivering cutting-edge products and services. Acsia has also enhanced its development centers in Bengaluru and Kochi, aiming to attract skilled professionals from various fields.
